Welcome!

My name is Tzedeck

I am a Massachusetts-based multi-disciplinary artist, filmmaker, songwriter, and early childhood teacher in the community where I live in Ma.

My professional name, Tzedeck, means Justice in Hebrew.

The "Tze" in the word Tzedeck is pronounced like the letter "S" or the sound a snake makes LOL

This word drives my life, my recovery, and my creative work

As an artist and a survivor

My journey has been a fierce fight for recovery

I am actively working alongside all of my government agencies and medical providers to secure the long-term care I need, and I am making steady progress every day.

I created this GoFundMe campaign to build a vital financial safety net during this transitional chapter.

Your support has directly helped me bridge the gaps and will continue to bridge the gaps in my immediate health and daily living costs, allowing me to maintain my autonomy and fully heal.

My ultimate goals stretch far beyond my own living room.

I use my recovery and multi-medium art to build bridges for other vulnerable people like myself .

I like to create art and music as a way to express myself and to advocate about things that are important to me in a non violent communication style that is also socially conscious.

I also use my art as therapy

And a way to aid my healing process.

I also have been proactive to use all of the resources that were and are available to me to empower myself and learn the skills I would need for my future self.

I have spent many hours studying with tutors, mentors, and teachers, and local law students from many local non profits in the state where I live to educate myself and empower myself to be a better artist and savvy business women.

Here are some concrete results of my active and pro active efforts to heal and have a life worth living during this very long journey of health and reccovery.

Filmmaking:

I wrote and directed and edited my award-winning short film documentary "A Reynah in Exile" also known as " Hidden in Plain Site" to expose the isolated realities of trauma and the major gaps in the mental health systems where I live.

Music:

I write and produce songs (like my work for The Gateway to Freedom Project) to broadcast anthems of faith and resilience over the airwaves.

Writing:

I publish raw essays and poetry on platforms like JewishBoston and The Times of Israel Blogs to dismantle the stigma of mental illness.

Through my platform, Tzedeck.com, I pledge a percentage of all sales of products and streams for my music to local social Justice causes were I live in my home town and the State of Ma.

I also am still in process of founding The Queen Esther One Dollar Fund to collaboratively support abuse survivors across all faiths.

By helping me secure my health and stability today, you are empowering an artist to keep creating, fighting, and advocating for a more empathetic world tomorrow.

Thank you so much for your kindness and solidarity.

Warmly,

Tzedeck Zeltzer
