If you’ve ever run in New York City, chances are you’ve seen us: the NYC Dragons. Racing through boroughs, cheering each other on, and lifting each other up and one Dragon in particular stands tall.

He’s our co-captain. Our Ironman (literally).

The guy who cheers just as hard for the person finishing last as he does for the winner.

The one who literally ran alongside a teammate when her shoe broke during a rac because no Dragon gets left behind.

He shows up for everyone else.

Now it’s time we show up for him.

Recently, our friend and teammate suffered a heartbreaking loss: the passing of his mother.

On top of grieving, he’s facing financial strain. We want to help so he can grieve and find his footing again.

We are asking funds for 2 reasons;

1. Assist with living expenses while he gets back on his feet and flexibility to heal without worrying about bills

2. A reminder that his community has his back
