Evelyn's Mobility: Electric Wheelchair Fundraiser

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Supporters,

I am reaching out today with a heartfelt request for your assistance to help me raise money for my next-door neighbors, Angelo and Evelyn. Angelo and Evelyn are the two most selfless individuals you have ever met. When I moved into the neighborhood Angelo was the first to welcome me and was there to assist me when ever I was away. Each night I would hear Angelo and Evelyn dancing to their favorite songs together until one night when Evelyn fell ill. She soundly was unable to walk and doctors had no idea what was going on leaving Angelo the only one to advocate for her. Angelo, being the loving supporting husband that he is would get up each day drive over an hour to the hospital and spend all day with her while researching as much as he could to make sure his wife would get better. He would bring crossword puzzles, and brain games to help regain her speech and would accompany her during physical therapy and assist with whatever Evelyn needed.

Unfortunately, due to Evelyn's medical condition and Angelo's devoted caregiving, they are unable to work. Evelyn’s condition has left her unable to walk leaving her in dire need of a wheel chair. Now that Evelyn is home and out of the Hospital the couple is forced to sell there home to find a place that would better suit Evelyns everyday needs. The weight of numerous medical bills has been piling up, and the high cost of living only adds to their financial struggle leaving them struggling to pay for basic everyday necessities.

I've had the privilege of getting to know Angelo and Evelyn over the last two years, and they are the kind of neighbors who never hesitate to lend a helping hand. They are the type of people who would give you the shirt off their backs without a second thought.

Now, it's our turn to help them. Together, we can make a profound difference in their life.
