Hi, my name is Marcy and I am raising funds for my Daughter Evelyn who was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease on August 15, 2022. It happened so fast from the consult to out patient procedure we didn’t have enough time to mentally prepare.

Back story on who Evelyn is.. she’s this caring, energetic, old soul that’s wants everyone happy! Never complained about much always drinks water eat fruits and veggies no questions asked. She started in May of this year with stomach pain from coloring a turtle at school. We didn’t think much of it. Stomach pains happened here and there but again not to much thought. Then her sister’s graduation party happened and she ate a little on junk food side but was fine. Then blood in stool started coming around again didn’t think much of it because she had a big bowl of cherry tomatoes. Then all of a sudden one of her stools was what looked like straight blood and had pain. Went to pediatrician he did X-ray of Belly said she was constipated. Did medicine cleared her out was fine for two weeks then hit again stomach pain and blood in stool. This point I knew something was wrong took her to ER which turns to a pedo GI referral. We were in the following week. After that it’s just been a roller coaster labs, stool samples, out patient procedure for colonoscopy and endoscopy. The day of her out patient procedure we found out she has inflammatory bowel disease but wasn’t sure which one. Doctor said with naked eye it looks like ulcerative colitis but had to wait for biopsy to confirm. Following week I received a email confirming Crohn’s Disease. I still remember that day the world stopped for a second. My husband and I cried before gathering ourselves to tell my precious little Evelyn. Then all the doctor appointments started MRI, dietitian back to pediatrician to be on same ball park as GI doctor. New medications entirely new diet. In the mean times bills started stacking up. We are asking for donations to help towards Evelyn’s medical expenses to help us and alleviate some of the financial strain that is on my husband and I. We greatly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts!!
