We, Glenda Saravia and Rosa Saravia, decided to create this GoFundMe for our sister, Evelyn Saravia who is a single mother of two beautiful children, Emma (9) and Isaac (7).
About a year ago, Evelyn started going through the unthinkable, when you have little children, she has been facing breast cancer. She has been on chemo treatment, but unfortunately the treatment has not had the results that would have hoped for. Evelyn had to make the tough decision of having mastectomy (removing both breasts). As many of you may know, this is a very expensive procedure (+/- $112,000.00), and Evelyn's insurance copay is $15,000.00. She has been trying to save as much as she can for this surgery, but after the surgery she will be without working for about three (3) weeks, which is very hard for a single mother. Thus, we are now asking for your prayers and for your financial support. Anything you can give would be a huge blessing for us (every little bit counts). But if you can't, it's ok, and we would feel blessed if you have Evelyn on your prayers so that the surgery has a positive turn out.
All of our faith is in God that the turnout will be as expected, and soon we will look back at this situation only as a bad chapter in our lives.
