This GoFundMe is being started by family and friends of an extraordinary Educator, daughter, mother, and friend, Evelyn. Evelyn is an excellent Elementary School teacher that is very dedicated to her students and student’s rights. In fact, she has 44 students enrolled in her current classroom and was working hard, remotely, when she fell ill.

Being the dedicated teacher that she is, she continued to work remotely from home. With blurry vision coming and going, Evelyn pressed through her day to ensure she did her best to teach her 44 students, not realizing the danger her health was in. Her phone call to the doctor’s office did not raise his alarm, and she was told she did not need to get to the hospital.

Soon after that, Evelyn lost vision and began having seizures. She has been unconscious since that day, Thursday, November 5, 2020. Her son was also delivered that day while she was unconscious. He is a healthy baby. Funds are needed to assist with her long term recovery, medical bills, care, and upkeep during this unforeseen situation.
