Evelyn Mustanski taught at St. Hubert Catholic School for 37 years until she retired in 2013. She was passionate about science education and the importance of interactive science education that engaged students and developed their passion for learning. She believed in the importance of teaching the cycles of life using living creatures (butterflies were a particular favorite). She always said how lucky she was to have a career that she loved and to get to work with so many other remarkable teachers. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the Evelyn Mustanski Science Education Fund at St. Hubert School which will support teachers' selection of interactive science education activities for the students. A donor will match all contributions (up to $5,000).
