Evelyn Graham Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Our friend, Evelyn Graham, was found by the police in her home on May 20, 2020, dead for at least 5 days. She was widowed in 1990 after 5 1/2 years of marriage; she then took her mother and brother to live with her. She took care of both of them during their bout with lingering illness; they both died in January, 2005 .
Evelyn retired in 2014 after working as an efficient and effective office secretary for the church for 25 years. She was much loved for her loyalty, thoughtfulness and virtuous trustworthiness. Upon retiring, she continued to live alone on a very meager income from Social Security.
Evelyn stayed connected with her only sister and three brothers who all live in the Philippines. She only got to visit them once in her 36 years of residency here being completely without family nor relatives in the USA. After that one visit, she never made it back to her homeland. It was her sister who called us from overseas to ask about her, after which we decided to check on her. With the help of the police, we found out that she had been dead for quite a few days.
To ease the financial cost of death expenses and other fees associated with Evelyn’s passing, we, her friends, have come forward to humbly ask for everybody's assistance. We believe that Evelyn's family whose job situations are greatly affected by the virus crisis would benefit from the help we are seeking for in this campaign. Your generous donation will be greatly appreciated.
