Hi, my name is Zandra, and I’m asking for help for our dog Nala, a dog who was rescued and given a second chance at life — and now desperately needs one again.

Nala came into our lives as a rescue. We promised her safety, love, and a forever home. She has been nothing but loyal, joyful, and full of life ever since. She loves to run, play, and be outside — running is truly her happiness.

Last night, everything changed when Nala was hit by a car. We rushed her to the vet, where we learned she has a broken leg, road rash, and a concussion. She is in a lot of pain, but she is still fighting, and we are fighting right alongside her.

The veterinarian told us Nala needs emergency surgery to repair her leg. Without it, she could face permanent damage or even amputation. Living life on three legs isn’t a fair future for a dog who loves to run and live so freely.

The cost of her surgery and care is $3,000, and despite doing everything we can, we simply don’t have the means to cover this on our own. It’s heartbreaking to face the possibility of losing her leg — or worse — because of finances.

Nala has already survived so much before we rescued her. She doesn’t deserve to suffer again. We just want to keep the promise we made to her when we brought her home — to protect her and give her the best life possible.
