While I know everyone in the community is struggling, we are facing some difficult financial times currently. Our basement flooded when the creek flooded; we had over 5 feet of water in the basement alone. National Grid won't turn utilities back on until the furnace and hot water tank are replaced. Electrical work still needs to be done. We need a dumpster for the muddy belongings that are completely ruined from the flood. And we are still trying to keep up on our normal bills.

With all that said, our homeowners insurance does not include flood insurance, so all of these repairs are out of pocket for us. Any amount would help and go towards replacing these essential appliances in the home and/or a dumpster to start the clean-out process. We are running on E here and stressed to the max!
