I’m Leo, manager and friend of John Rodriguez. Our dear friend and Larchmont’s best bartender was hit by a car after his routine morning run on Monday March 13th.

The driver who hit him fled the scene and bystanders were the ones to call first responders. He was taken to Lincoln medical on 149th. X-rays were taken and luckily there are no broken bones. He will be back to walking soon enough but will be out of work for quite some time. Apart from being the bartender at Lusardis restaurant, john is also a runner. He was training to compete in the NYC half marathon on Sunday March 19th and super excited. His most recent accomplishment was the Miami marathon on January 2023 completing the race in 3:52:06. John will be discharged from the hospital today (3-15-23) and will remain in his mothers care or the time being. I am asking for any donation to help John with any medication and medical expense. If we know John, we know that he will be back up and running and will not allow this setback to keep him down. Wishing John a speedy recovery!
