As most of you know, we had to rush Evan to the hospital last Sunday. He had to be rushed down to UAB, 3 hours away. The last week has been incredibly trying for my son, myself, and his dad. While all of this started, Evan's dad had a heart attack Sunday and unfortunately had to stay behind where we live, while I went with Evan to UAB to have surgery on his heart.

Evan was sick the previous week and out of school and suffered some complications from a bacterial infection. Evan has been diagnosed with FDD, and we have a long road of traveling from home to UAB for treatment every week as the town we live in doesn't have the appropriate resources for Evan to get that treatment.

I have already missed 2 weeks of work, medical bills, travel expenses such as food, gas, and hotel accommodations have piled up quickly. I am forever grateful for all of you who have been praying for us and reaching out asking what you all can do to help, and I'm so grateful to God for the village he's blessed us with! Please continue to also pray for Evan and his dad as we learn to navigate this new journey with Evan. It's going to be very difficult to face the things we're having to face for the unforeseeable future!
