Blessed Greetings, my name is Evan Highley, and I am raising money to go on a mission trip to Uganda Africa. "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20). These final words of Jesus recorded in the book of Matthew serve as the ultimate charge to all of His children following the path He has laid out before them. God's plan for my life has me planted with the amazing Christ-centered family known as Kailua Community Church. Moreover, He has called me to join their mission team in this year's trip to Gospel of Life Church in Uganda!! On this adventure, we are blessed with the opportunity to lead hundreds of African children in a one-week Vacation Bible School program, where we will get to share God's written word in such an inspiring and engaging way. With His guidance and leadership, we may also help hundreds more come to learn, know, and potentially even accept Jesus into their heart. This mission not only preserves the message of Jesus Christ, but also transforms the lives of many, including the very members of the mission team. For this mission to be possible however, I need your help to raise the funds needed to carry us out there. I pray God puts it on your heart to give to His great commission, or at the least, to pray for our team's ability to serve Him in far-away nations.
