Hello Everyone. My name is Jennifer. 

I am reaching out to share a personal challenge and to ask for your support. Recently, our family has been faced with medical conditions that require treatment beyond what our financial capabilities can handle.

Our son Evan was recently diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, POTS, Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, and possibly Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Evan has been in the hospital 6 times this year already. Some of his doctors and testing has to be done in Gainesville which is 1 1/2 hours away from us. He had 2 lung surgeries at the age of 17. He will probably need shoulder surgery in the near future. 

In 2024 I was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. I have had to undergo multiple tests as well as see a specialist in Gainesville. I’m receiving regular ongoing treatment. I will most likely need a liver transplant at some point. I’m thankfully not at that stage. My current MELD score is an 8 out of 40.

Due to Evan’s health conditions he is limited to how much he can work. It has affected his income. My husband lost his job in March 2025, but is now working again. I had to take a few months away from my online business to help Evan with his treatment, appointments, and hospital visits. 

The cost of medical expenses, tests, medication, gas, car repairs , and daily living expenses has become a hurdle for our family. I am humbly asking for donations to help cover these and future expenses. Medical insurance does not cover 100% of treatments. Your support would provide not just financial relief but also encouragement to our family during this difficult time.

Your kindness would mean the world to us. Our greatest request is that you continue to lift us up in prayer, trusting God for full and quick recovery.
