For these girl's hockey is life.
From their homemade shooting net to the holes in the walls from playing in the house; we are a hockey family. Every year from August to April, we can be found most days on the ice.

They have grown up at the rink and loved every minute of it. Hockey is so much more than a sport it is their community, friends, and even family. Through the ups and downs of life hockey has remained a steady guiding light where they could find refuge, strength, and encouragement.

Last year before the pandemic hit the U.S. Joey was invited to join a tournament team destined for the Finland Lion's Cup Tournament. But as it did with most things COVID-19 cancelled her plans. With everything that has been thrown at us over the last year the money for the trip was needed for other things.

Now its 2021 and I got a call asking if she and her sister Ella would be interested in joining the same team leaving in a few short months. It's an incredible opportunity; the thing dreams are made of. But without your help it wont be possible. There just isn't a way for me to come up with the money by then for them to go. Please help me get them to Finland so they can compete for the Lion's Cup.
