Evangeline's Facial Feminization Surgery Fund

Hello! My name is Evangeline Lazalde, and I’m a trans woman living in San Mateo, California. I’ve been medically transitioning since February of 2023, and it has filled me with such immense joy to be able to live my life authentically while being supported by an incredible support system of close friends and family. While the progress of my transition has made significant changes to my quality of life, I still face a great deal of dysphoria that makes my day to day life a huge challenge. Because of this, I’ve started the process towards getting Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS), a procedure that would alleviate my dysphoria and allow me to finally see myself as I truly am. I thankfully have insurance that will cover a good portion of my surgery costs, but the deposit money required is all upfront, and I’d need to have that in order to book the surgery itself. This surgery is in high demand with the surgeon I’ve decided to go with due to his 15+ years of experience, so I’m currently looking at a wait of around a year and a half (June 2026). The sooner I’m able to confirm this day the better, as pushing this date farther back would make for the dysphoria to last longer. If by chance I get any money more than the deposit costs, I’ll be using that for the remainder of the surgery costs. Anything helps, even just sharing! I am so excited to be able to take this journey, and I’m eternally grateful for all of the love and support I’ve received along the way. It truly means the world to me.
