Evander is joining YP SPACE MNC team who are dedicated to raising funds and awareness of programs that combat youth homelessness.

March 21st- 28th, 2026 he will walk 138kms across the cliff tops and rugged southern coastline of WA.

There is no such thing as an ‘easy day’ on the Cape to Cape challenge, there are a lot of ups and downs, often in sand, and there are several beach stretches. Evander will walk between 19 to 24km a day, carrying only a day pack.

This challenge will provide funds and awareness for YPS MNC. Who provides services to children/young people aged between 12 to 25 years who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness in the Port Macquarie/ Hastings and Kempsey/ Macleay LGAs.

One of the many services YP SPACE MNC Inc provides is crisis accommodation; safe and affordable housing for young people across the mid north coast. YP SPACE MNC Inc have implemented two 24/7 supported crisis accommodation services – one in Port Macquarie and one in Kempsey. Both services have a total of 5 beds available to young people aged from 12 to 25, for up to 3 months. It is targeted to young people with high and complex needs and no or limited family/ community support options.
