Evan to 2023 IronMan World Championships

Hello,

My name is Evan Vaughan and I'm a 2022 IronMan Wisconsin finisher. I was originally aiming for that sweet, sweet World Championship spot after a gruesome 6-months of training but fell short of the qualification after a race that 'just wasn't my race'. I figured I had missed my shot but, to my surprise and accompanying anxiety, IronMan gave me another chance! Long story short... I will be racing in the IronMan World Championships in Nice, France on September 10th.

For those that are unfamiliar, the full-distance IronMan triathlon is:

Swim - 2.4 miles

Bike - 112 miles

Run - 26.2 miles

Est. Time of Completion: 12.5 hours

Training for endurance events can be extremely expensive given the required cycling gear and, of course, the amount of food it takes to supplement a 4500+ daily calorie diet.
