Evan Steele's Kidney Transplant
Evan was born in 2010 with Polycycstic Kidney Disease. For the first five years of his life, his kidneys were functioning enough on their own. Unexpectedly in April 2016, Evan went into kidney failure and needed dialysis immediately. He has had three operations to insert a neck catheter (twice) and a feeding tube for nutritional and medication administration. We are asking for help with the anticipated cost of his procedures and loss of work time to stay home with him for 6 weeks post-transplant. Our employer benefits and savings have been exhausted. After being on a waiting list for the past year due to his rare blood-type, Evan is now scheduled to recieve a transplant on April 5th, 2017 as his unbelievably generous Aunt donated her kidney on his behalf. Thanks for any financial or spiritual help you can offer!
