It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of our beloved son Evan on Jan. 11th, 2019. Evan was always cheerful and positive. He was loved by his classmates who shared the same dreams and desires that he did.

His instructor said the following:
I learned a few hours ago that a former student of mine, Evan Porter, just passed away. He was 18 and just out of High School in his first year of college. I got him as a 15 year old kid just getting into bass. He progressed very quickly and devoured music. I had him for over a year, he was such a sweet and gentle person.

His classmates said:
Heartbreaking. I have so many fond memories of talking about music with Evan. He was such a joy to see. He will be sorely missed.

My heart is broken, he was such a sweet kid and too much for him to have had to go through and now for his family.

So sad. What a tragedy to lose someone so young.

We are putting together this Go Fund Me account to
1. Help Evans family pay for his funeral expenses.

2.Settling any local debt / expenses:
Payoff credit cards, school loans and other school expenses.
