Evan Needs Your Support for a Service Animal
Donation protected
In August 2024, at 11 years old, Evan had his first seizure. Shortly thereafter, Evan was diagnosed with generalized epilepsy. We have spent the past year searching for a medical solution, however, at this time, one has not been found to stop the seizures. With the advice of the medical team, we have decided it is best for Evan’s safety, as well as his growing independence, to have a service animal. We are asking for support to be able provide Evan with a dog specifically trained for seizure detection. The hope is that this dog will give Evan a sense of comfort, confidence and security by assisting him in daily life to combat seizures. This dog will also serve as an emotional support to Evan as a child living on the spectrum. Thank you for thinking of our family.
