Evan Clark’s Road To Recovery

Hello, everyone. My name is Vanessa and I am Evan’s fiancé. First, we would like to thank you for taking the time to read this gofundme and hear our story. Around 2 a.m. on Tuesday May 3rd, Evan fell asleep behind the wheel of his car on his way to our home from work and he crashed into a tree. He was trapped in his car, extremely hurt, until he was found around 6:15a.m. that morning by a passerby, who is an angel that was placed there to help save him that day. Evan is currently on a ventilator in critical condition and remains in the ICU for his injuries. His injuries are severe and will require him to stay at a rehabilitative center after he is released from the hospital. These injuries are expected to have a recovery period of 6 months to 1 year at a minimum. During his recovery, as you may have guessed, he will not be able to work and I will become the sole source of income for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, the full extent of some other injuries is not apparent at this time due to him being in a medically induced coma. Those of you that are close to us know that we recently moved to our own place, which includes the usual rent and utilities. Evan has insurance, but there are some medical procedures that will require him to pay out of pocket, which will be difficult as he will not be working. I will be trying to work as much as possible to help, but I am afraid that will not be enough as we split our bills equally each month.

We are seeking help during this tough and unexpected time. If you know Evan, you know how amazing he is and how quick he is to help others. We thank God every day that Evan survived this tragic accident and we know that God has plans for Evan, and for our future together
