Evan Burleigh's Rock Climbing Memorial Fund

It is with a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of our loved son, brother, and friend, Evan Burleigh. Those that knew Evan knew him for his blunt honesty, 'particular' disposition, and fierce determination.

He would always share his interests with anyone that would lend an ear and was eager to include you in his activities. He was a gifted man with a broad range of passions but the one that outshined them all was rock climbing.

Evan's long-time passion & commitment to indoor rock climbing was something to be admired. He frequented his home climbing gym, BaseCamp, any chance he got (checking in almost 700x since Sept. 2015). He'd prioritize it over almost any other activity or social invitation. It was his refuge.

Let us celebrate Evan's life by creating a fund for low-income climbers. We seek to provide climbing access to the underprivileged to enjoy his passion and hopefully grow a passion of their very own.

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to join us in honoring Evan's life with a donation. Any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will go directly toward supporting his legacy in the climbing gym.
