On Monday, September 16, 2019, thirty-three-year-old Evan Ashworth suffered a stroke. Since then, Evan has been in Ruby Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. He has surpassed the odds and baffled his doctors in his recovery, but he has also suffered some setbacks along the way. Evan's road to recovery will be long and arduous, but the love of his family and friends will surely help carry him along the way.

The entire time, Evan's family and friends have faithfully remained by his side. Because most of his family is from Putnam County, the cost of remaining in Morgantown has grown measurably. Although friends and family have been generous in providing meals and transportation to the family, the Ashworth family still must stay in hotel rooms when they are not at the hospital. 

This family complains of nothing and is so grateful for all the prayers that people have sent up on behalf of Evan for the last week. This fund is to help assist them in their lodging costs while they help care and support their beloved Evan.
