I'm Evan O'Connor. I am a 21 year old Eagle Scout with years of camping experience and a thirst for adventure! This August I'll be starting my biggest one yet! I will be walking from my home in Dedham, MA all the way to San Francisco, CA. While the adventure alone will be fulfilling for myself, I want to use this trip to give back as well. So throughout my journey I will be raising money for Earth Justice, the largest non-profit environmental charity in the USA.
You can watch me every step of the way! I will be posting daily Snapchats, and weekly on Youtube, as well as posting LIVE on Instagram and Facebook throughout my 4,000+ mile voyage.
Content will include interviews with locals to gain different perspectives on the issues in America, documentation of my physical struggles during my trip, and of course plenty footage of the natural beauty found throughout my country.
In order to successfully complete this trip and raise awareness/donations for charity I'll need:
-Technical equipment (camera/microphone/gimble/ battery/ potential electronically repairs)
-Sponsored videos (to highlight the charities or products I will be working with)
-Camping gear (stove, tent, tarps, backpack, rope, first aid equipment, etc.)
-Emergency capital (Carriage repairs, medical expenses, theft insurance)
*some of these items I already own, but by purchasing higher quality replacements I'll be able to ensure better safety and comfort for myself as well as better content for my viewers
