Rape and Torture Survivor Needs Financial Help

Hi, my name is Eva and I'm a survivor of severe torture, rape and physical abuse, and I have been diagnosed with Psychosis. I am desperately seeking financial help throughout this time. I usually work as a licensed dancer, though I have incurred a lot of debt by being unable to work due to my mental health diagnosis. Upon receiving this diagnosis I was placed in a mental health facility, and I need to pay my bils and rent before the end of the month without work. I am over 70,000 CAD dollars in debt. I am utterly exhausted, depressed and just heart broken.

Things negatively changed in my life at the start of COVID-19. Work was not a possibility during the COVID lockdowns and I lost a lot of income. Then everybody I knew and loved turned on me. My family became sexually abusive towards me, and my closest friends hurt and abandoned me. It really shocked me. I have been struggling to maintain myself because I am severely traumatized.

With your financial help from this Go Fund Me campaign, I hope to continue my healing journey with physiotherapy as well as doctor's check-ups. I am an artist by trade and also hope to build a small business that I can operate from home. I am a painter and love working with crafts. It would mean so much to me, to receive the help that I need to live comfortably without the fear of meeting people who could potentially harm me. I also live with a lot of paranoia from my trauma with friends and family and hope that I can operate from a safe space of healing.
