Soldiers, gunfire, not enough food and no medicine. This is the terrible daily life of my mother and my family in the Gaza Strip.

My name is Hamdan and I am originally from the city of Rafah (southern Gaza Strip) where my family has lived and continues to live.

My family — especially my young niece and nephews— have lost everything due to the devastating effects of the war.

Their home, their possessions, their sense of safety — all taken away in an instant.

Now, they are living in tents, facing harsh weather and uncertainty every single day.

What once was a happy childhood filled with dreams has turned into a daily struggle for basic needs like food, warmth, and security. They are incredibly brave and hopeful, but they urgently need help to rebuild their lives.

A dear friend of mine who is currently in Gaza with his wife and children has lost their home and been forced to relocate multiple times in search of safety and shelter. Like many families in Gaza, they are now struggling to find the most basic necessities—a safe place to stay, clean water, food, and medical care.

Despite all they’ve been through, they remain incredibly strong and hopeful. But they urgently need help to survive and rebuild.
