Donation protected
Hi All,
My name is Hasam kawear and I live currently in Belgium. My dear friend from Gaza is trying to raise funds to rebuild their life regarding of what’s happening now in Gaza. Due to her geographical location and restrictions from GoFundMe I am stepping in to help launch this campaign. All donations will go directly to Arkan. Please support if you can, any amount, however small can help her and her family to survive this cruel situation.
Below the story of Arkan Abed:
Hello, dear supporters! my name is Arkan Abed from Gaza,a 21-year-old, My family consists of 11 members.
I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart, urgently seeking your support to help me and my family escape the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
I write this after a lot of thought and hesitation, but my motivation to save my family is stronger than any considerations. I am here to ask for your urgent help in evacuating my family from this brutal war taking place in our country to a safe place. We left our home in Gaza and were displaced many times under inhumane conditions. We suffer from all forms of oppression, disease, pollution, and lack of security and treatment.
Since the war erupted in October 2023, life in Gaza has become a nightmare!
.. After 170 days of loss, grief, humiliation,
pain and absolute suffering under the Israeli aggression on Gaza, I no longer have any other choice. My family and I decided, with great pain, to leave the Gaza Strip. The survival of my family and myself depends on your support and help, and we appreciate your donations and spreading the donation link among your social circles.
For more than five agonizing months, we have been trapped in a nightmare, surrounded by unspeakable violence and devastation. The situation in Gaza is beyond comprehension, and I find myself with no choice but to turn to you for assistance. My hands are tied, and this fundraising effort is our only hope for survival.

We used to live safe and secure in a cozy house full of beautiful memories, but now we find ourselves displaced without a shelter and without the lowest necessities of life.

On October 7, 2023, our lives changed radically. Our house was destroyed, forcing us to flee and look for a safe place for my family. The conditions were very difficult, especially for my young children who had to face this ordeal.
On October 17 of the war, we lost my uncle, killed by the occupation in cold blood!
My constant fear accompanies me of losing another person from my family.
Our hearts cannot bear the loss of another person,In this context, I find myself alone, burdened with responsibility as a breadwinner for my family and the burden of searching for safe shelter.
Our present and future are fraught with danger. I was so hesitant about doing this fundraising link but my feeling that the danger approaching and increasing day after day and my intense fear for my family, is what ultimately pushed me to resort to this method after all avenues were closed in our faces, as we sought every means to try to get out and save ourselves, but unfortunately, all of them failed.
About the house :
We used to have a life filled with hope and promise. We worked tirelessly for years to build and decorate our beautiful home, only to see it destroyed before our eyes. Along with our home, we have lost all of our savings, leaving us with nothing to fall back on.

My family is currently living in a perilous
zone, facing catastrophic circumstances every single day. We are running out of the most basic necessities for a decent and humane life – clean water, food, electricity, and shelter. The once vibrant community we knew has been reduced to rubble, leaving us in a constant state of fear and uncertainty.
But the true tragedy lies in the daily struggle for survival that my family faces. Displacement has become our reality, and finding essentials like water, food, and medications has become a daily battle. There are nights when we go to bed hungry, unable to afford even the most basic sustenance. The scarcity of essential items in Gaza has driven prices to unimaginable heights, making it nearly impossible for us to afford what little is available.
Our plight goes beyond the loss of material possessions – we are now without any source of income, left to fend for ourselves in a war-torn landscape.
ago today, around this time, we
were decorating our home with joy and happiness in anticipation of the upcoming month of fasting.

After 171 days of war, I began to lose hope, so I turned to you to tell you about my family’s suffering, which is increasing day by day.
At the heart of this tragedy:
My heart aches for my younger brother Rakan :who is 7 years old, suffered a war injury to his eyes. I appeal to you to let him go outside Gaza to complete his treatment abroad.
My brother Omar:
suffers from asthma and allergies and needs treatment, fumigation, and oxygen daily, but it is not available due to the power outage.
His condition became worse due to the smoke of the missiles and white phosphorus that the Israeli occupation threw at us.

My grandfather is a heart patient and needs open-heart surgery as soon as possible.
he’s in a need of urgent surgery, but the destruction of hospitals prevented my grandfather from having surgery.
Because of the siege and war, he cannot go outside the Gaza Strip to perform the operation and save his life.

I was scheduled to finish the fourth year of university and start achieving my dreams, but the war had other plans, in the blink of an eye, I lost my dreams and my university.
Our dreams were buried under rubble!
the occupation killed all these dreams and I was left with nothing as it destroyed my university These are pictures of my university after it was destroyed, and I had no dreams left. They killed all my dreams!

Today we live in a tent in the city of Rafah, south of Gaza, and we suffer from very difficult conditions. My family and I suffer from diseases due to the contamination of water and available food, and we now dream of a normal and safe life for our children like any other child in the world, away from violence and destruction. We need your help to start over and build a better future for the family.
we owned. Now we are homeless and live in... Displacement places, which are tents that are not suitable for life under cold and rainy conditions, which make my family suffer from poor health conditions due to human crowding and the transmission of diseases.
The conditions are dire, and my biggest fear is for the safety of my family and myself. Yet, amidst this chaos, my sole focus remains on finding a way out through the Rafah border crossing. It's not just about my dreams anymore – it's about providing a safe haven for my family.
In addition, if the Israeli occupation forces decide to invade rafah in the coming days, the situation will become even more tragic, and i may lose a Member of My Family, God Forbid. My dear brothers, we need your help and support to evacuate us from this disaster as quickly as possible, to save the lives of my Family and loved ones and to build a better future. Thank you for your understanding and sympathy.”
What made me make this decision and my request for your support through this link came because of the high costs required of us to travel and because of the cessation of our financial income over the past period - five months - due to the war, as most of our sources of income that we relied on stopped.
To cross the Rafah border into Egypt, we need to come up with a hefty fee ranging from $7,000 to $8,000 per person. They won't even consider adding our names until we can prove we have the funds.
I ask you to help me collect the amount so that my family and I can leave here and treat my brothers and grandfather, whose health condition has increased. Help me complete my studies and excel in them as usual and achieve my dream of building my own business.
Please, help me make my dreams of a reality. Your donation, no matter how small, could mean the world to us. And please, share my story far and wide with your loved ones. Every moment that passes in Gaza is a moment filled with the risk of death. Your generosity in this time of need will never be forgotten.
I repeat, this is not just a fundraising campaign but a call for solidarity and empathy.Every support contributes to igniting the flames of hope.l thank you for every heart that reacts and supports.
Together,we can build a safer and brighter future for my family.
Your lmpact :
Every contribution, no matter the size, will play a crucial role in rebuilding not just a structure but a haven of love and security for my family. Your support goes beyond financial aid; it is a lifeline that helps us reclaim our sense of normalcy in these challenging times.
I am truly grateful for your time, consideration, and support. Your generosity will make a lasting impact on our lives, helping us turn the page towards a brighter, more hopeful chapter.
Thank you for being a part of this journey
With heartfelt appreciation.
