Dear Friends,
Help me and my family escape the War in Gaza and go to Egypt.
(My parents, my four children, my brother and his wife, my sisters, their husbands and children, 20 family members in total)
My name is Mohammed Alsayed and I’m Palestinian from Gaza.
I am writing this to you in a time of great urgency and need. Me and my family currently in south Gaza in Rafah, facing unimaginable circumstances. We are desperately seeking your support to help us evacuate to safety.
The situation has become increasingly dire, and I fear for our safety daily. Since Oct 7th, we have evacuated within Gaza three times, going back and forth, going from mid-Gaza then to the south, and have witnessed death countless times, yet were able to make it miraculously.
I’m sure you see the news and you can see that there is no water, no food, no electricity, no power, no nothing to support our basic life which makes me feeling very scared about my mother and father health as they both ill people.
My family members are holding Palestinian passports, and are required to pay a crossing fee of $5000 per adult and $2500 per child to Hala Company to secure their exit from Rafah Crossing to Egypt.
Once I reach my target, I will link my page to my brother in law bank account in the UK for the money to be transferred and then he will travel to Egypt himself to pay the fees because the fee has to be paid by a relative in the company office in Cairo.
The funds will be allocated to cover myself and my family's crossing fees from Gaza to Egypt as well as our temporary stay in Egypt for around two months until we are able to travel somewhere else. In Egypt, we will need to cover costs such as rent, purchasing new clothes, and general living expenses.
Your donation, no matter how small, will make a significant impact and contribute to reuniting my family in a safe environment. The funds raised will be used transparently and efficiently to ensure that every pound goes towards securing their evacuation.
Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues to help us reach our goal and bring my family to safety. Your support means the world to me, and I am immensely grateful for any assistance you can provide during this challenging time.
Thank you for your compassion, and generosity, and for standing with us in solidarity. Together, we can make a difference and help my family find the safety and security they urgently need.
With heartfelt gratitude.
