My name is Safaa. I am 22. I studied at Al-Aqsa University, specializing in English Language Teaching. My life was beautiful in Gaza, where we enjoyed a QUIET life. I used to teach foreigners the Arabic Language on Preply.com. I enjoyed learning new cultures with them by communicating across countries, but my whole life and my future changed and were destroyed on the morning of October 7, everything changed.

I stopped working from the beginning of the war until now because there is no internet or electricity here because of the war. The war greatly affected our lives, and we were eventually displaced from our homes. My family and I went to the South and left everything beautiful BEHIND US.

We are now in Rafah, still there is not a safe place in the South to live. My family home in the North, full of memories of my childhood and recent wedding, was destroyed and my brother's house was completely burned down due to the war. There is no electricity or internet to continue working online. Life is very difficult here, every day we hear of children dying, we want to return to our home but right now it is impossible. We are still concerned about the lack of a safe place for us in Gaza, so we want to travel abroad and have the opportunity to LIVE SAFELY again with my family. The costs of crossing the border into Egypt are around $6000 per person, we cannot raise this alone, I hope you can help me and my family.
