Help Radwan's family rebuilding their life in Gaza

Hello All,

I'm Mohammed from Gaza, currently I'm out of Gaza, but my family is still there, in any moment they lose their lives due to the war on Gaza. For this reason I'm reaching out and come to you with an urgent appeal to evacuate and save my family who I didn't see them for more than 5 years. My appeal is to evacuate my mother who is sick, she has cancer and her health getting worse due to there is no treatment for her, my father, my brother and his fiancee whose the couldn't marry because of the war, my father and mother in low, and my brothers and sisters in low.

Here you are a little bit about me, my family and an update about the situation in Gaza:

My name is Mohammed, I was a humanitarian activist in Gaza, and I have been able to help children and disabled people in Gaza through the charity Knights of Gaza and I still do.

I left Gaza 2018 after I witnessed 3 wars, through them our house destroyed partly, but this time we lost literally everything in Gaza, my parents and my brother have nothing left after our house is destroyed in this war. I seeked asylum in Belgium 5 years ago trying to search a better life.

My parents are not well, my mother has cancer and her health getting worse every single day,

They are now displaced in Rafah city with my parents in low. They are facing dire circumstances as they lack access to food, clean water, and warmth in these cold days.

My brother Momen and his Fiancee were planning to get marry early this year but it seems their dream got killed, Momen's appartment is destroyed now, no job or clear future now. He said:" My childhood was in the city of Khuza’a, but the occupation destroyed my city, our house was destroyed, and my memories were erased. We were displaced to Khan Yunis and then again to Rafah. In reality we are living in a tragedy and trying to be okay. My mother suffers from cancer, and her health condition is getting worse day by day due to the lack of medicine, clean water, and good food. We are trying to escape death.

My wedding was supposed to be on December 11th. We dreamed of a small family and a warm home, but the occupation destroyed our family and we lost our loved ones... After 111 days of war, we lost the luxury of dreaming, and we began to think about how to survive and remain alive."

My mother in low and their children Maha 19 years was studying decorating engineering at university but not anymore, we don't know for how many years she can go back to continue her studies. Lama 17 years old, kareem 15 years, Amer 14 years, Eileen 7 years. Schools are destroyed completely so there is no education for them at least for thr next 3 years.

People face a severe lack of the most basic survival items. Food is becoming increasingly scarce, and roughly 80% of the population already faces emergency or catastrophic food insecurity. Winter has also arrived in Gaza - January is on average the coldest and wettest month. People are trying to survive in inadequate, harsh, and cramped conditions. They lack blankets, warm clothes and access to food, clean drinking water and proper sanitation. Fuel has run out, and hypothermia is a real threat.

I have lost beloved ones, relatives and friends, and I don't want to lose more of them.

The family can't survive anymore in this catastrophic circumstances.

There is a chance right now to get the whole family out of Gaza and into Egypt by the way of the Rafah Crossing. It is very uncertain how long we will have this opportunity for, making it critical to raise the necessary funds as quickly as possible.The longer it takes - the more in danger they are all in. No one knows how much longer the bombardment of Gaza will last and what the continued cost to human life will be. For my family’s future, your help is essential.

The funds you contribute will accomplish the following:

- Cover the expensive costs of safe passage into Egypt. The vast majority of funds will be utilized for this.

- 11 family members, 7 adults whish it costs 5000$ for each. And 3 children which costs 2500$ for each.

- Once we collect enough money we priorities my parents's evacuation due to her illness and then the rest of tge family members, how much we collect is how many we can save lives.

- Set up the family with a temporary place to stay in Egypt, while it is determined what the best path forward for them is.

- Cover some of their initial living costs while in Egypt. We hope to provide enough for at least a couple of months. They need time and space to breathe after being in Gaza during this genocide.
