To all brothers and sisters in humanity around the world, this is an emergency call for support. My name is Osama Abdou, a Palestinian clinical psychologist from Gaza, calling for financial aid to evacuate my family from the war zone. Consisting of 10 persons my family including my parents and 2 orphan nephews who lost their parents in a bombing incident (note that the evacuation will be done in 2 groups, first group consists of my family in the above picture and the others will follow later on due to the very high cost of coordination and travel) and I have been through very tragic and traumatizing series of events including total destruction of house, cars and properties and loss of dear ones. Including my 47 year old brother, sister in low and 2 nephews I have lost over 20 relatives in this insanely and massively destructive war, I had to burry some of them in the backyard.

Since the 10th of October looking for safety to my family I had to evacuate 4 times, all 4 places were either totally or partially destroyed. On Jan. 16'th the Israeli forces launched operations in the area where we stayed. My kids and I went through horrifying moments for over 2 weeks when we got trapped and besieged by military vhiecles shooting at the windows!!

On Saturday, Feb. 3rd the soldiers invaded our shelter, bombed the garden, the 1st and 2nd floors and reached up to our place. They searched and destroyed every thing inside, then asked the males to take off all their clothes, shoes and walk bare foot for 20 kilometers carrying my non-walking mother and supporting my diabetic daughter (type 1 diabetes).

For the sake of the souls that were not respected niether in life nor in death, for the soul of our dear Cat who was terrified during the bombing of the building and ran away and disappeared looking for safety and for a better future for my children with no fear, darkness, hunger and vigilance for bombing and anticipating death at eny and every moment, please help us evacuate this war zone before losing more family members specially my diabetic, insulin dependent kid I cannot imagine her also dying in my hands...

Coordination fees needed to cross through Rafah borders to Egypt is 5000 US $ per person (total fundraiser is barely enough to evacuate 6 persons as a first step).
