Hi, my name is Mohammed Albarayka currently residing in Canada and I am fundraising for my sister Aya Albarayka who is stuck in the war in Gaza.

Here is Aya's story...

Every since the war in Gaza broke out, our lives have changed for ever. This war is just beyond anything we have ever imagined. My husband, myself and my two daughters were forced to evacuate the north of Gaza Strip to the the south since week 1 of the war.

We have never thought that this war would last this long. Unfortunately, I gave birth during the war and I am facing difficulty in providing formula for my baby girl in addition to diapers.

My two elder daughters, Judy who is seven years old and Dana who is five years old have missed a whole scholastic year. They currently suffer from severe trauma due to the ongoing bombardment taking in consideration that they have been displaced many times.

Now, it is summer time and it is extremely hot in the tents. No adult neither a child could bear the hot days of the summer specially if they were living in a tent.

I launched this fundraiser to be able to collect my family's traveling fees. I need to evacuate my family to safety and my daughters need to get back to school as soon as possible. The funds raised will go towards covering the costs of our relocation, traveling expenses, accommodation and initial living expenses in our next destination.
