Hi. My name is Osama and I am fundraising on behalf of my nephew Fadi. This is his message:

I am Fadi and I work as a journalist in Gaza. Throughout this ongoing genocide, my life and the life of my family are at risk just like many of my journalist colleagues due to my mission to portray to the world the massacres occurring in Gaza. I have lost everything including my home, my equipment, and my loved ones. I have been displaced and sheltering in a tent in a hospital with my family of six who I leave behind often and face difficulties returning to them due to the constant danger surrounding us.

From the beginning of this genocide, I have dedicated my life to showing the world the true horrors we are facing without any income to provide for my family of six and have been struggling to bring necessities that is a fundamental human right such as water, food and basic hygiene with sickness and contagious diseases constantly surrounding us.

I ask for help to evacuate with my family to safety for the sake of my children to begin a new life outside my country, in which I have nothing left in.

The funds will be used for permits to evacuate my family across the Rafah-Egypt border which is around $7000 USD and the remaining will be used to settle in Egypt and cover GoFundMe fees.

I appreciate your support and generosity and together you can help bring back hope to the darkness that has taken over our lives.

أنا فادي واعمل كصحفي في غزة. طوال هذه الإبادة الجماعية المستمرة كانت ومازالت حياتي وحياة عائلتي معرضة للخطر باستمرار مثل العديد من زملائي الصحفيين بسبب مهمتي المتمثلة في تصوير المذابح التي تحدث للعالم. لقد فقدت كل شيء، من منزلي إلى معداتي وأحبائي. لقد نزحت ولجأت إلى خيمة في أحد المستشفيات مع عائلتي المكونة من ستة أفراد والذين أتركهم خلفي في كثير من الأوقات وأواجه صعوبات في العودة إليهم بسبب الخطر المستمر المحيط بنا.

منذ بداية هذه الإبادة الجماعية، كرست حياتي لإظهر للعالم الفظائع الحقيقية التي نواجه, دون أي مدخول لكي اصرف على عائلتي.

 

فأنا أكافح من أجل إعالة أسرتي المكونة من ستة أفراد لتوفير الضروريات التي تعتبر حق أساسي من حقوق الإنسان مثل الماء والغذاء والنظافة الأساسية في ظل المرض والأمراض المعدية المحيطة بنا باستمرار. أطلب المساعدة للإخلاء مع عائلتي إلى بر الأمان لأجل اولادي لبدأ حياة جديدة وإقامة حياتي خارج وطني الذي لم يبق لي فيه شيء.

سيتم استخدام الأموال للحصول على تصاريح لإخلاء عائلتي عبر الحدود بين رفح ومصر والتي تبلغ حوالي 7000 دولار أمريكي وسيتم استخدام الباقي للاستقرار في مصر وتغطية رسوم GoFundMe.
