As you are all acutely aware, what is happening in Gaza is catastrophic, to say the least. With only one barely operating hospital in the area, over 40k people killed, and many more unaccounted for, people are facing extremely dire situations, including forced starvation.
With that being said, and barely scratching at the surface of the surface, I am here today to ask you for your generous help.
Yasin's tutor who became a family friend is stuck in the North of Gaza and facing these inhumane conditions. We are trying to evacuate her and her family out of Gaza to seek safety.
Alaa Saqallah (30) graduated with a BA in English and became a Hafiza at 16 years old (one who has memorized the Quran).
Alaa's home has been destroyed which has displaced herself her husband (Mohammed Saqallah, 36), and two beautiful children (Kamal Saqallah, 9 & Tala Saqallah, 7).
Please, please, please, help us get them to safety. Once the Rafah border is once again open we are using the funds for their evacuation and a portion to help them get on their feet once evacuated.

- Adult: $5,000 (2x)
- Children: $2,500 (2x)
- Estimated tertiary evacuation expenses (transportation, food, temporary/safe lodging, medical expenses): $750
Living Expenses: $9,925
- Living expenses in Egypt for family of 4 (inflation for refugees is 84%): $1,165.30+(1,165.30x.84)=$2,143.90
- $9,925 can provide the cost of living for about 4.5 months for the family to get back on their feet.
