Eva LoVullo EP and Music Video Fundraiser

Hello!

My name is Eva LoVullo am a New Orleans-based singer-songwriter, guitarist, bassist, cellist, and traditional cajun musician. I am also a scientist and designer who studies human decision-making and a climate organizer in the Gulf South, fighting for a sustainable future.

Songwriting has saved my life. At six years old, I wrote my first song about home and how scary it was to leave it, again and again, each hurricane season, not knowing what I would come back to. At twelve, I wrote my first painful, unrequited love song, needing somewhere to put the tornado of hormonal feelings I had. At fifteen, I wrote a piece about rearranging the furniture in my brain after my mother died. My songs have given me a container to put grief, the joys of falling in love, the devastation of losing it, and the constant dissonance and pain of living in a world that continues to fall apart while remaining beautiful and inspiring.

I am working on releasing an EP and music video collaborating with amazing artists and musicians, namely Katie Martucci, Chris Stafford, Trey Boudreaux, Jim Kolacek, Eliza Wapner, Virginia Walcott, Sam Aguirre-Kelly, Doug Krebs, Nelson Williams, and Lyle Werner. I need your help!

This project is expensive because making art is expensive! I want to be able to pay the artists and collaborators I am working with what they deserve (I wish I could pay them all more). I use these funds for studio time, mixing, mastering, video equipment, shooting, editing, and distribution. I want to raise 4,000 to break even on this project and pay artists a livable wage who contribute to this project.
