Help Eva get back on her feet

The first time I met Eva I instantly wanted to be her friend. Have you ever heard people talk about an "inner beauty" or "glowing from within"? That is Eva. She deals with multiple chronic health issues daily and is currently going through a difficult breakup, and still remains one of the most kind, empathetic, funny, and wonderful people I have ever known. She has previously volunteered in the Texas burner community as a Sanctuary listener: for non-burners, this is a person who will be a calming presence and listen to you if you experience a traumatic event. I have personally found a lot of healing from speaking with Eva just as a friend!

Eva's former partner encouraged her to quit her job when they started dating, but since they never married she is not able to receive alimony which would help support her as she finds her footing on her own. Eva also left their shared home in a rush, so also has very few household basics.

This fundraiser will help Eva cover rent, utilities, food, clothing, medical costs, household basics (cleaning supplies, hygiene), and hopefully a few small luxuries until she is able to find stable, paying work.
