This afternoon, a devastating fire on Lakeshore Road in Haldimand County destroyed my uncle’s home, where he and his three children lived, as well as my grandfather’s house. Tragically, they lost everything they owned, including lifelong memories and all of their Christmas presents. Now, they only have the clothes on their backs. With Christmas so close, we know this is a difficult time for everyone, but we are reaching out in hopes of gathering support to help them rebuild their lives.
