Hi Everyone,
My Name is Ev and I am a 16-month-old German Shepherd. I just went to live with my foster family given to me by the Southwest Florida German Shepherd rescue. My former family had to surrender me when my Mom Developed complications caused by her battle with ovarian cancer. My Dad has to take care of her, so he can't care for me the way I need and he wants to. I was hit by a car 6 weeks ago and had my hip was dislocated and my other leg was seriously broken. The leg did not heal right and now I need another operation to fix it with a plate and screws. The Rescue needs to raise money for my new operation which will take place Thursday 7/11/2019 in Ft Myers. The cost of that surgery has risen from the original estimate so we have set our new goal at $4200. We were lucky to have found a place that would advance us the money and we will repay it as soon as funds are collected so I can get my operation right away. It was hard having pins in my leg for six weeks and now I need that leg operated on again. Please help me through Go Fund Me. The Rescue can't afford the operation as that would severely impact their annual budget. I will be forever grateful if you would help me so I can try to walk normally again. From the Rescue: We fell in love with this sweet gentle dog as soon as we met her. She needs our help and we are there for her. The rescue has adopted out well over 1000 dogs in our 14 year history and we plan on helping as many as we can.
