On December 8,2018, driving home from a PEO Christmas event that she planned at Mount Vernon, Rachelle and her three passengers were rear ended not once, but twice as they were getting on I66. While her passengers have healed, Rachelle is still recovering from a severe brain injury and is unable to return to work.
As of March 7,2019 she has run out of sick leave, and has not received a paycheck.
She tried to to return to work with restrictions, unfortunately the accommodations could not be made for her.
She has two children in college and an 81 year old mother who has many health issues of her own. Her children and mom help as much as they can, but the financial responsibility fall onto Rachelle.
We are raising money to help with the financial strain of waiting for long term disability to kick in, medical bills, and the day to day worry that inhibit her ability to heal.
