EUTM Mali Movember

Moustaches for a great local cause.

We are a group of European soldiers from 25 Nations who are lucky enough to work together on our mission deployment in Mali, Africa.

Being a part of EUTM Mali we interact with local communities on a daily basis and we want to contribute to help children in need here in Mali under the umbrella of the Movember movement.

Through the growing of moustaches and also the organization of central fundraising activities such as a 5km Race, table football tournament and raffle we are raising funds for the international NGO La Chaîne de l’Espoir(https://www.chainedelespoir.org/en). Their mission is to organize direct surgical and medical interventions in developing countries, such as Mali. Here in Mali they have a relationship with the Centre Hospitalier Mère-Enfant – “Le Luxembourg”, a hospital related to the charity which deals with paediatrics, carrying out the country’s first open-heart surgery in 2018.

Our aim is to assist in giving the disadvantaged children of Mali a fighting chance and to contribute to the overall improvement of their lives.
