If you live in the South Miami area or even just in Miami in general... You know this place. "EUROPEAN CORNER VENEZUELAN BAKERY". Either you have tried the amazing tequenos, cachitos, arepas and more. Growing up this was my safe haven. Waking up early in the morning to go the bakery to get my coffee and tequenos. Whenever I would walk in Señora Alba and her family would greet me with the biggest smile and the most love.  I truly feel every single time that I walk into that restaurant that I would be going to my grandparents house. She was my grandmother and its was and always will be a special feeling. 

Senora Alba was truly a incredible women. After battling her way out of communism with her family, she came to this country in search of the American Dream. Since 1993 her and her family have been devoting thier lives to the people of South Miami; to provide not only provide some great meals but to provide the best service possible.  Two days ago, Senora Alba had passed away. The motor and pilar of Venezuelan bakery. As I was sitting in my room speechless, I decided to take action. She always inspired me to fight any obstacle I was facing and during some of the darkest times, she was there to hold my hand. Its time to give back!!! During this Covid-19 season,  it has been hard for our local restaurant businesses to stay afloat. European Corner as well as many other local bakeries have been pushing everyday to stay in business. I can not sit back and watch this happen to one of the most iconic places in South Miami and neither should you. Thank you all so much and I hope that you can support this cause!
