Eight of our talented Quin Taekwondo club athletes will travel as part of the National Taekwondo team to the AETF European championships in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in April. Shane Tuite , James Tuite, Christine Franks, Cara Copeland, Ethan Sweeney, Colin Devitt, Teigan Hehir and Shane Devitt are training hard in Quin and with the national team as they prepare for the championships. ITA Taekwondo is not funded by the government so our athletes must pay all their costs to travel to the euros.

The club fundraising committee do a weekly Split the Pot and an annual Flag day to support our club athletes. Any contributions of sponsorship will be most gratefully received to offset some of the expenses for our hard-working athletes. Please share this post.
