- Hi my name is Mary, I am fundraising for my sister Eunice . She is a single mom of three and with one on the way. On March 27 at 12am my sister got a knock on her door from a friend. Unaware he was armed and under the influence, my sister opened the door. He accused my sister of knowing the whereabouts and/ or hiding his Baby’s Mother . My sister half asleep and confused, told him to go home. When she attempted to close the door, he pushed her and the door open and proceeded to open fire, shooting her multiple times on the leg . Thankfully my sister is alive but she lost a lot of blood, her knee is completely shattered, and could possibly miscarry. She’s gone through one surgery to remove bullet fragments. And is waiting to receive another surgery to add metal plates to create and build a knee. She will have to go through extensive physical therapy and will have to use a walker for a long time.This is a horrible situation financially and emotionally. About a month ago my sister landed her dream job. There for she currently does not have health insurance . We’re asking for help to cover any medical expenses, medical equipment, and coverage for any expenses while in recovery and not working. Anything will help.
