Eugene's Heart Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Dear friends,

As some of you probably know by now, our dear friend, Eugene had a massive heart attack in the early hours of February 24th. His entire world was turned upside down. He was first told he might just need a stent, to a triple bypass, and finally ended up with a quadruple bypass because of the deterioration to the arteries cause by years of smoking cigarettes and vaping, then COVID he contracted in January.

Eugene is a son, brother, cousin, coworker, and amazing friend (to so many). Eugene is know for organizing many fun trips, evening outings, and cookouts. He is the type of friend that makes sure everyone is included, always putting his needs last. He is the glue that keeps us together.

Eugene would never ask for help himself, because that's the type of person he is. He never hesitates to help someone in need but does not easily accept help.

His recovery has not been easy. Eugene had artery grafts done from multiple parts of his body. This has left him with numbness in his left hand, which we hope is temporary. He's experienced an incision rupture on his sternum which has caused more discomfort and slowed down the healing process.

Eugene still has a long way to go, and while he's a fighter, he needs our collective help to assist with the financial burden this has caused.

He was recently notified that he has no PTO left to use due to using what he accured for COVID. He needs to be homebound for a minimum of at least 6 weeks per his doctor's orders.

Daily living expenses, medical and prescription bills are piling up. Every donation, no matter how big or small will end up making a difference. If you cannot donate, then please share his fundraiser on your social media platforms. The goal is to raise enough money so that Eugene doesn't have to go back to work until he's fully recovered along with covering some of his medical bills.

To all donors, be it friends, family, friend of friends, or total strangers. Thank you!

Will post future updates on here as well.
