Hi I’m Euan, I’m 13 years old and I've been given a fantastic opportunity to represent Derbyshire as one of 36 Scouts to go to the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland in Summer 2027! I’m proud to be going as part of 1st Inkersall Scouts.

The World Scout Jamboree is a huge international event where tens of thousands of Scouts from all over the world come together to learn new skills, take part in adventurous activities, and experience different cultures. I’ll get the chance to meet people from countries across the globe, work on community projects, and take part in activities that help develop confidence, leadership and teamwork. I really want to go because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will help me grow as a person, and bring skills back to my local group.

To make this unforgettable trip possible, I need to raise £3,350 over the next 20 months. The money will help cover travel costs, equipment, training camps, and support Scouts from less fortunate backgrounds so we can all attend together.

I’ll be doing lots of fundraising events such as sponsored challenges, car washes, gaming events, and fundraising activities with some of my fellow Scouts. I’ll also be adding ideas and updates as I work towards my target.
