Help a Dad and Husband catch up to life

Hello all,

My name is Brad. This is a pretty embarrassing thing for me. I am an 18-year active duty Soldier that is currently overseas. Myself and my spouse are beginning to go through a divorce that's looking to have quite a bit of friction. During the last few months, everything started to unravel a bit due to interpersonal issues and ongoing health issues within the family itself. There was clearly a mismanagement of funds and now I am currently behind on my mortgage by a month. I am swimming in credit card debt as well, just trying to make it through to the next month. Whether it is a combination of errors due to the system through the mortgage company or a mismanagement by both parties, I honestly have zero idea. I have never been behind on any bills ever, so this is extremely new territory for myself and am worried about beginning to lose one of the only assets I currently have.
