For years, our community has gathered in rented spaces—parks, schools, and temporary halls—to pray, learn, and connect. While these spaces have served us, they are no longer enough to support our growing needs. We are launching the Badegnan Islamic Community Center Acquisition Project to establish a permanent mosque and community center in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. This space will serve as a hub for prayer, youth programs, education, and community support.

A permanent center means a stable place for daily and Friday prayers, youth programs and mentorship opportunities, educational classes, community services, and most importantly, a safe and welcoming environment for future generations.

This is more than a building—it is a Sadaqah Jariyah, a continuous charity that will benefit countless people for years to come.

Our Goal: We aim to raise funds to purchase at least 5 acres of land and develop a facility with: A large prayer hall, Classrooms, Parking for 250+ vehicles, Essential amenities like restrooms and ablution areas
