Hi everyone,
I never imagined I would be in this position, but life has taken an unexpected turn. My name is Abdulrehman and I live in Pakistan, currently doing my A-levels (final year). I recently lost my father to cancer in June 2024 and his passing has left my family devastated, both emotionally and financially.
I plan to begin my undergraduate studies in August/September 2025, but with my father gone who was the sole breadwinner of our house, I have no means to fund my education. I have always dreamed to pursue my undergraduate at Lahore School of Economics (LSE) in Pakistan, which is affiliated with the London School of Economics. My mother does not work and my older brother is still studying, making it incredibly difficult for us to make ends meet. We have been struggling to cover even the basic living expenses. If I can raise enough funds, I hope to go to LSE.
Education has always been my dream and my father wanted nothing more than to see me succeed. I want to honour his memory by continuing my studies, but I cannot do it without your help. Your donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. It would bring me one step closer to securing a future that my father wished for me.
If you are unable to donate, I completely understand as times are tough for everyone. But even sharing this fundraiser would be a huge help. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer. (My friend is kindly managing this fundraiser on my behalf.)
With gratitude,
Abdulrehman
