The Alex Dalpe Adaptive Bike Fund
Donation protected

I am raising money so that a very special boy, Alex can ride a bike for the first time. We all take riding a bike for granted but when you suffer from Dravet Syndrome that is something you are simply not allowed to do.
Here is Alex's story:
Alex is a 10 year old boy with a severe catastrophic form of Epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome. He has been limited on what and how much he can do without having a life threatening seizure occur. Alex's family never thought he would be able to ride a bike due to his gross motor abilities and severe seizure triggers. He recently has begun a new medication that has allowed him to do more without a constant fear of a seizure trigger. This adaptivebike would do amazing things for Alex. It will open a whole new world for him. Given his condition, he always has been limited on any outdoor activity. If we can reach our goal, Alex will get his bike. Please help Alex get this really cool bike. Imagine the smile and happiness he will experience knowing he can do something outside that is fun like all the other kids.
Alex recently tried to win a bike through the Great Bike Giveaway but was unsuccessful. So we are hoping to raise these funds to directly purchase the bike for Alex. Alex deserves to be like every other child. Please, please, please consider donating and bringing a smile to a child.
Here is a link to the bike. The bike retails at over $7500. We are hoping to get the friendshipcircle discount.
